When I arrived at Los Verdes Golf Course on November 17th for Emily and Tyler’s wedding day, I knew it was going to be a truly stunning day. There was something in the air, I’m not sure if it was the salty breeze or the laughter of the wedding party as they were getting ready, but there was an ease to everyone that made for such a fun day.
Emily and Tyler are high school sweethearts and have stood by each other through so many life moments. From enduring long-distance relationships, supporting each other through school, to celebrating career milestones, these two have been each other's constant support. In December 2021 they switched out Emily's promise ring to an engagement ring on a hot air balloon that went over the spot they first went to junior prom together! Freaking adorable right?!?
The week leading up to the wedding the forecast predicted rain during the outdoor ceremony. We were all a little bit stressed, thinking about having to cover up the gorgeous setting with a tent. But thankfully, the rain came through the night before, leaving the wedding day with clear skies and a lovely breeze. It couldn't have turned out better!
Emily and Tyler achieved a wonderful blend of classic and tropical aesthetics. The timeless color scheme of black, white, and dark green was complemented by tropical white flowers and palm fronds. The combination of classic elegance with a hint of the tropics made for a stunning setting especially when you looked out the all glass windows of the venue and were able to see the ocean past the rolling hills of the golf course.
Emily and Tyler brought their dog, Thor, to be their ringbearer and oh my goodness, was he the CUTEST thing ever!! He was just so adorable, and everyone loved seeing him walk down the aisle. Tyler really went the extra mile as well by hiring a live painter as a surprise gift for Emily. Can you imagine the look on her face when the painter captured their first kiss as husband and wife? Even Thor made it on canvas! It was such a sweet way to capture that moment and all of the guest loved getting to watch the painting come to life as the night went on.
One of my favorite parts of the day was Emily's first look with her dad. They shared a special drink together in custom whiskey glasses—a nod to their shared love of whiskey. With a gentle clink of the glasses, they raised a toast to the memories made and the ones yet to come.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without a fantastic team of vendors. Photo and video by Another Dream Production captured every magical moment. Flower Duet LA created the stunning floral arrangements, and Miss Meagan's Studio was the live painter who brought their first kiss to life on canvas. The DJ from Second Song kept the dance floor packed, making sure everyone had the time of their lives.
