Old World Romance Styled Wedding Shoot in Texas

Nestled in the heart of Texas, Heaven on Earth Oaks hosted us as we created a gorgeous Old World Romance styled wedding shoot! This session immediately transported us to a whimsical realm where European class met vibrant, upscale vintage charm. The picturesque venue, with its stunning "old section," vintage furniture, vibrant wallpaper, and stained glass, provided the perfect backdrop for this enchanting session. The Vibe

The overall vibe of the event can be summed up in three words: colorful, upscale, and vintage. The old section of Heaven on Earth Oaks, with its vintage furniture, vibrant wallpaper, and stained glass, set the stage for a celebration steeped in European class and timeless romance. The colorful and whimsical theme extended to every corner, from the beautiful grounds to the two-story ceremony area that made for breathtaking shots.

Florals

Blooms and Boards, a rising star in the wedding industry, took center stage in crafting the focal arch piece. The florals, carefully curated for each station, maintained a cohesive theme of color and whimsy. The variety of blooms added a touch of freshness and elegance to the venue, creating an atmosphere that was nothing short of magical for our photoshoot!

The Fashion

Ventura's Bridal, one of Houston's largest and oldest bridal stores, was kind enough to let our models choose some of their dresses to wear! Each model got to pick their own dress for the session, and oddly enough, most of the models chose from the same designer: Justin Alexander! The choice of dresses added a touch of sophistication to the vibrant and vintage setting, creating a seamless blend of old-world charm and modern elegance. We also had a jewelry specialist come in, who added custom pieces for all of the models. This was a great way to enhance the elegance and luxury of the shoot.

Despite the Texan humidity and unexpected rain during the shoot for solo brides, the event sailed through without a hitch. Luckily, the model's hair and makeup remained flawless! Photographers and vendors enjoyed a laid-back time as we captured creative shots at this gorgeous venue. It was so fun mixing new and established vendors! They all embraced community over competition, which was so refreshing.
